Affiliate disclosure
How shopping links on Pakwanpedia work.
Some pages, mostly in the Pantry, include links to buy an ingredient online. Some of these are affiliate links: if you buy something after clicking one, the store may pay us a small commission. The price you pay is the same.
How we mark them
Shopping links sit in a separate "Where to buy" section, away from cooking advice and traditional uses, and the section says that it may contain affiliate links. These links are marked for search engines as sponsored.
What it doesn't change
A commission never changes what a page says about an ingredient, how to judge its quality, or how to spot adulteration. We don't show live prices; we show a typical price range or a "Check price" link, because prices change often.
Programmes we take part in
We don't take part in any affiliate programme yet, so no link on the site earns us a commission today. When we join one, we'll name it here.
